Application
VF205 is an EPS grade featuring a non-HBCD flame retardant agent, designed for producing EPS foam with densities ranging from 13 to 20 kg/m³. It is ideal for high-quality block molding and thick-wall shape molding applications. VF205 is commonly used in fire-classified applications, such as thermal insulation materials for construction and contour moldings. Lower densities can be attained through multiple expansions.
Storage
Products should be stored in well-ventilated areas with temperatures ideally not exceeding 25°C. They must be protected from adverse weather conditions and direct sunlight. Partially used containers should be tightly sealed, maintaining their original closure, and used promptly. To preserve expansion potential, it is recommended to use the product within three months of delivery.
Processing Conditions
Minimum density depends on the type of expander and the pressure/steam conditions.
Silo aging time should exceed 5 hours to achieve high strength in the molded product but remain under 24 hours to ensure optimal fusion.

It is essential to ground all equipment and machinery to prevent the buildup of static electricity on product conveying lines and during processing.
